Trends In Web Design 2018
One of the main issues we have with web design is breaking the barriers or designing outside of the box. For most website designers and developers with forward thinking creative vision this maybe somewhat of an easy step to take. But should it be taken and when and who should you take it with? Taming the creative juices becomes very important as designing outside the box is not appropriate for every client and more importantly it may or may not be appropriate for their target audience. Believe it or not but in 2018 we still have companies and organizations believing that we design websites for them and forget that we are actually designing for their target audience. Yes we have to tell the company story, sell their products and get their message out there for the world to see. But if the focus of the website design strategy does not take into account their target audience then it is a compete miss and their website visitors become webblind. Not good!
Looking at what has been working over the past year in 2017 regarding web design trends, you will find that much of it is still very trendy for 2018. Thing is that not all trendy concepts as mentioned works for everyone and some trends may not last very long at all while other trends last for several years. It is important to watch and observe what is happening and what is working or not working over time. Let’s take a look at some of the recent trends growing on the web and maybe you will see how they rate. Keep in mind that the importance lay with the company using them and the target audience they are trying to engage with.
